Made in the USA Gear Review: Darn Tough Socks

(photo credits: Rocky Mountain Bushcraft, ©2013)

Made 100% in Vermont USA, Darn Tough Socks are literally as tough as their namesake.

I generally beat the crap out of my socks out in the bush. Sadly, most brands of socks I've tried just don't hold up very long. Not Darn Tough.

Darn Tough socks stand up to abuse that would make any other sock fall apart. I have worn their Extra Cushion Mountaineering Socks and their Hiker Boot Socks for over 3 years, and they are still going strong. In fact, they've held up better than any socks I've ever owned.

Conclusion

Darn Tough Socks are ultra durable, fit well and are comfortable on all-day hikes. I like these socks so much that they have become one of my favorite pieces of gear.

5 out of 5 Stars (Highly Recommended)
