Beautiful Fall foliage in the area of my test camp

One of our readers asked to see photos of the fall foliage in the area of my test camp. To that person, thanks again for your support and hope you enjoy these. It really is a beautiful time of year in the Rockies!

  1. Beautiful pics. Love the yellow contrast. This is my favorite time of year to be in the woods. It's like being inside a postcard :)

  2. Beautiful shots keep em coming if you can. Will the yellow eventually change into orange and red. They look like aspens. I miss the season changes living in Fla. I grew up in the North Country.

Just previewed your Hults review looks great! Gotta sit down with a coffee looks like a good long read.
    thanks

    1. Thanks Al. The Aspens pretty much stay yellow until they fall off. I believe it's hardwood trees that turn orange and red.

Florida ay? I spent lots of time in Florida as a kid, and yeah, not much of a change during the year. Winter time here is beautiful, but can feel desolate and lonely at times, so Florida isn't so bad when it's -30 degrees here!

Thanks for the Hultafors comment. I'm writing the review on those right now, hoping to have it posted soon.
